The house is the perfect base for exploring the island; every season (due to the central heating) with great beaches, hiking and exploring. In "Pithari" can live in three bedrooms (one double, one with two single beds and one with a single bed) comfortably five people. On the first floor is the spacious living room with dining area and well equipped open kitchen. There is a double bedroom and a bathroom. From the living room takes you to the beautiful, large terrace overlooking the village. A modern staircase leads to the first floor where there are two more bedrooms and a modern bathroom with a washing machine are located. From the ground floor you enter the garage (lockable and with space for a car). The two-storey house - semi-detached - was fully renovated in recent years and equipped. In the living room there is a Klimaanlage.In the bedrooms are fans. The cost of electricity are charged separately according to consumption. The authentic village Skalochori is not far from the tourist town of Molivos, Petra, also some of the best beaches are in the area. We recommend a car during your stay to explore the island. The rural surroundings of Skalochori and the almost untouched nature make the location perfect as a starting point for hiking, exploring or excursions to popular places around how Molivos, Petra or Eressos. For bird lovers, the place is well suited as a base; the salt fields and wetlands of Kalloni are not far. We live on Lesbos, take on arrival at the house in receiving and say goodbye on departure. Phone service for you to achieve more. We recommend our guests for your stay a car. We are happy to assist you in booking a rental car. For information on the island and on excursions and tours, we provide advice and assistance. Skalohori is a traditional village with many stone houses, about 60km from the capital, Mytilini. In the charming village located a few hundred residents and few tourists find their way here - even if the tourist centers of Petra and Molivos are not far away. The village houses are arranged like an amphitheater on the hillside, with a nice view for about 5 km distant coast. An ancient plane tree shaded the village square, where the locals like to meet day and night. In Skalochori there is a bakery and a few shops for basic services. Fresh fruit and vegetables, and fish can be bought fresh at the traveling merchants in the morning. The village is 15 minutes away from the place Kalloni, the main town of the region with supermarkets, banks, internet cafes, etc. From Skalochori can be reached in 20-30 minutes some of the most beautiful beaches in the northwest of Lesbos. The surrounding countryside is perfect for hiking and nature explorations. From here, you can make the best excursions or day trips to the beautiful places of Petra, Molyvos and Eressos. For ornithologists, the village is also a good starting point, because the salt fields and wetlands of Kalloni and other interesting bird areas are not far away. A "must" for visitors of Lesbos is the Petrified Forest in the west and the natural history museum in Sigri. The trip there takes about 45 minutes and leads through an impressive volcanic landscape. Apart from the beaches, the magnificent local produce and the exquisite island cuisine, the beach tavernas, the stunning scenery and historic sites, Lesbos offer visitors a good range of exciting activities and is a destination for all seasons. The village Skalochori is a perfect base to discover the diverse island.")
